The first Goulburn Rodeo was held in 1942 to raise funds for Legacy.

In 1968 the Goulburn Rodeo Club was formed and the clubs first Rodeo was held on the 11th February 1968. John Goff and Bill Dutaillis were the initial instigators and the first rodeo was run to aid The Sisters of Mercy. In 2018 we will celebrate our 50th rodeo and planning is well underway.

Reg Willoughby was also one of those founding members and is still an active member today.

The Goulburn Rodeo Club’s tradition is still going strong and each year the club hands out donations to local charities, in 2016 the club donated $10,000 back to the community. Since the year 2000 the club has donated over $100,000 to the local Goulburn community.

The club has a small band of dedicated members and we meet at the Goulburn Workers Club on the first Monday of the month.

We are always looking for new members so if you have an interest in Rodeo or raising money for those less fortunate than ourselves come along to a meeting, you will be made feel very welcome.
